As Salimbeni our experience as an artisan silversmith began way back in 1891, thus bringing back a century-old culture to the field of precious manufacts.

However, our best is expressed in the vintage period from 1960 to the end of the 90s. During these years, collaborations with proprietary brands and designs have given life to a multitude of objects, part of which today constitute our private collection.

These are absolutely new pieces, generally prototypes that we have created and that we have now decided to talk about.

It is an alloy consisting of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. 

Is vintage silverware really silver?

Just check that the 925 mark is imprinted which identifies Sterling silver. The manufacturer’s mark is also found on the pieces. ours is FI 391.
